How do I get involved?
Since the compost is run out of a Shandon neighborhood home, we prefer not to make the location public. If you would like to get involved, either by dropping off your organic scraps or picking up finished compost, there are a couple of methods.
DM for Address
We have set up an Instagram account that connects directly to the compost manager. If you send a direct message to Shandon Compost Collective he will get back to you as soon as possible with the location.
Fill in our Form
If you enter your information in the contact form, found at the bottom of each page of the website, we will get back to you with the location.
Things to keep in mind:
We clean the bin and combat critters as often as possible, but during the spring and summer months you may run into flies, red ants, or even see maggots. Just be cautious when removing the metal lid. Also, with the direct sun, the lid may be hot, so do a quick tap test!
